SINUS HEADACHES

Headaches in the area of the forehead, facial bones and cheeks or around the eyes are
typically called sinus headaches.

SINUS POLYPS

Polyps are outgrowths of mucosa that project into the nasal or sinus cavities and cause blockage.

SINUSITIS

Sinusitis is a term used for inflammation of the sinus mucus membranes. Inflammation may be caused by infection, allergies, smoke, pollution, bacteria, fungi or viruses.

STUFFY NOSE

Persistent or chronic nasal congestion can be due many reasons, among the most common ones are allergies, sinus inflammation or infection also called sinusitis.

RUNNY DRIPPY NOSE

Clear constant runny nose from both nostrils, worse after certain meals or after exposure to allergens, can occur from a condition called vasomotor rhinitis or from allergic rhinitis.

THE SINUS-MIGRAINE CONNECTION

In general sinus headaches can occur in the same areas as migraines but are more likely to be a dull ache or a sense of head fullness or sinus pressure in the face or head. In acute sinus infections or acute baropressure, the pain may be more acute and severe.

EUSTACHIAN TUBE DYSFUNCTION

Eustachian tube dysfunction is a broad term used for when the tubes are not working properly and unable to open and equalize pressures in the middle ear.

An allergy is an unusual response of the body to an environmental agent. While most individuals may not be allergic to a particular item, some individuals are genetically predisposed to allergies to certain agents or become allergic as time goes by.
